Independent and Structured Volunteer Programme
Both programs work with the same development goals.
Independent Volunteer Program , is aimed at adults over 18 with an intermediate or advanced level of Spanish . These volunteers have some flexibility in the implementation of their projects.
Structured Volunteer Programme , is also aimed at adults over 18 years and are run by staff Rufada day is suitable for volunteers with basic level of Spanish
Here are projects that can participate :
Education:
Teaching English , music, painting, environmental conservation and recycling at the following locations :
Agropecuario High School, 5 minutes from the town of Urubamba.
Antonio Sinchiroca High School, 20 minutes from the town of Urubamba.
Palqaraki School , 10 minutes from the town of Urubamba.
Chaullacocha School in the high Andean community Chaullacocha , 1 hour and a half from the town of Urubamba.
Traditional Textileria: Working with 40 weavers in the high Andean communities Chaullacocha , Chupani and Rumira Sondormayo .
Activities to develop:
Collaborate with marketing ( exhibitions, displays and demonstration workshops at tourist sites , including hotels and restaurants in Urubamba and Cusco).
Development of Marketing for textiles .
English classes for women weavers
Research.
Reforestation Native Plant dyeing .
Rural Tourism: In Chaullacocha, Chupani and Rumira Chupani Sondormayo communities.
Activities to develop:
Workshop family hygiene .
Food preparation.
Accommodation Room .
